Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement is seeking a 1st Shift Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Sr. ME) with strong CNC programming experience to optimize manufacturing operations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including CNC programming and operation of lathes and milling machines, with proficiency in AutoCAD or Mastercam and solid knowledge of GD&T, CMM, and OEE improvement concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing experience, including CNC programming and operation of lathes and milling machines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Mastercam
• Knowledge of machining fixtures (pneumatic and hydraulic)
• Experience with a variety of CNC machining equipment and manufacturers
• Understanding of GD&T, CMM, statistical process control, and capability studies
• Familiarity with Zoller tool preset and measuring systems, various carbide inserts, tool holders, and major CNC machine brands such as Fuji and Mori Seiki centers
• Knowledge of OEE, first‑piece inspection, and manufacturing efficiency improvement concepts

Responsibilities

• Improve OEE and scrap performance on existing production lines
• Maintain process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines
• Program and modify CNC programs for lathes and milling machines
• Validate CNC programs on equipment
• Collaborate with quality control on first‑piece inspections and process improvements to ensure products meet specifications and remain in statistical process control
