Job summary

NSG, Inc. is seeking dedicated Security Officers for 1st shift at an office facility in Covington, KY. You will greet visitors, patrol the property, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents to keep clients safe.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a background check, and reliable transportation. Workdays are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with paid weekly wages of $17 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors at the front desk and maintain a secure reception.
• Conduct scheduled walking rounds of the facilities both outside and inside.
• Monitor entrances and exits; observe and report suspicious activity.
• Escalate incidents and communicate with NSG leadership and property owners.
• De-escalate tense situations using verbal skills and crisis management.
• Guide discharged staff, trespassers, and unwanted individuals off the premises.
• Report incidents promptly to authorities and NSG leadership.
• Provide a visible, reassuring security presence and perform related duties.
