Job summary

NSG, Inc. is seeking dedicated Security Officers for a Clifton facility on a 2nd/3rd combo shift. You will maintain a safe and secure environment by conducting rounds, monitoring entrances, and responding to incidents with professionalism.

Requirements include passing a pre-employment background check, obtaining an Ohio security license, and being able to work in outdoor conditions. Weekly pay and a 32-hour work week are offered.

• Remain calm in stressful situations and manage conflicts.
• Learn the layout of the Clifton facility quickly.
• Operate radio/phone equipment reliably during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled walking rounds inside and outside the facility.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; report irregularities.
• De-escalate conflicts and use verbal techniques to resolve issues.
• Check doors, windows, and gates after hours; ensure secure premises.
• Report incidents promptly to NSG leadership and authorities as needed.
• Provide a visible security presence and deter potential threats.
• Assist in directing discharged staff, trespassers, or unwelcome individuals off site.
