Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Robot Welding Part Loader for 1st shift (6:30am–2:30pm) in Hesston, KS. The role involves operating a robotic welding line, assembling parts, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety standards.

Starting pay is $18.21/hour with a comprehensive benefits package. You will work in a team-oriented, high-volume manufacturing environment, following standard work and safety protocols while contributing to quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred (required to maintain pre-treatment system)
• Ability to comply with safety standards (full body Tivex suits, air purifying respirator)
• Technical ability to elevate issues when identified
• Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead

What You’ll Do

Work within a station that is part of a robotic welding line for the robot to weld a unit using standard build process. Follow all production processes to maintain a consistent workflow to ensure safe operations, quality product and consistent delivery.

Duties

• Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture
• Use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure quality product
• Control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection.
• Read and understand operation standard, as needed, such as blueprint.
• Manual movement and lifting by clamping parts together by hand and/or using hand tools.
