Job Title: ReceivingForklift Operator

Location:Georgetown KY

Shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay:$15.50

What you'll do:

• Operate a forklift in a safe manner with respect for fellow workers.
• Unload inbound goods and freight
• Verify the quantity and quality of incoming material.
• Stores all inbound freight in appropriate staging locations.
• Tag all customer-owned inventory as such prior to storage.
• Store all Raw Material and WIP goods in the proper storage areas.
• Assist the quality department by removing all dispositioned material from the hold area and return it to the vendors.
• Place the appropriate load tags on the incoming material as required.
• Issue Non-conformances for any incorrect material received.
• Enters all incoming material into material tracking system.
• Transfers all incoming finished goods into the warehouse
• Communicate with Manufacturing and Shipping on order status
• Assist the Quality Department with any NCR's for incoming materials.
• Complete a forklift checklist each day, at the beginning of the shift.
• Maintain the outside storage areas.
• Assist in the maintenance of the incoming stock areas.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
  
  

What we need from you:

• Be at least 18 years old or older
• Must comply with client'ssubstance abuse & background policy
• Must have Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have 2 yrspreviousforkliftexperiencein Manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a Receiving role in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with receiving processes is required.
• Experience with basic data entry involving a material tracking system.
• Experience loading unloading trailers
• Must have Computer experience inWord, Excel and Access
• Basic math skills are essential for inventory management tasks.
• Ability to operate a motorized, gas-powered forklift safely and efficiently is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
