• Performing inspections on manufactured and purchased components
• Data collection and recording using Programmable Measuring Systems
• Analytical testing within the Quality Inspection Area
• Supporting administrative duties in the Quality Inspection Area
• Maintaining calibration and training plans for hardware and software
• Developing relationships across the organization and driving teamwork
• Interpreting blueprints, quality inspection plans, procedures, and work instructions
• Performing tasks safely, efficiently, and accurately
• Training inspectors and providing support as needed
• Attending scheduled work hours reliably
• Following company policies and procedures
• Performing other assigned tasks

Qualifications include:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred but not required: AWS CWI certification
• At least three years of experience in a quality weld inspection role, preferably with an active certified quality system
• Welding experience and ability to perform weld inspection to AWS D1.1
• Visual acuity and proficiency with gauges and measurement tools
• Experience with blueprints, GD&T, and quality inspection processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret 2D drawings
• Physical ability to perform required tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and travel up to 15%
