Job summary

Caterpillar North Little Rock, AR is hiring a Quality Technician II for 1st shift to perform quality inspection of Motor Grader, Medium Wheel Loaders, and DV components and DV machines. Emphasis on assembly and paint process inspection, applying engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to judge conformance. Hours are 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in Quality Inspection, Welding and Fabrication, Machining, Assembly, Paint, or Logistics.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and Cat 1E specifications is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP-ME, AQE, andMicrosoft Excel is highly desirable.
• Experience using Teamcenter to view CAD models and using EPIX/PRWB drawings and 1E Specifications (REDI) is highly desirable.
• Experience in use of manual measurement devices (calipers, gauges, micrometers) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspection of Motor Grader, Medium Wheel Loaders, and DV components and DV machines.
• Apply Caterpillar drawings, specifications, and standards to judge conformance of NLR products.
• Emphasis on assembly and paint process inspection.
