Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Quality Technician I to join our leadership team in Atlanta, GA. The Quality Technician I provides leadership to establish and maintain quality levels of products throughout the entire value chain, supporting an effective quality system. Responsibilities include ensuring quality compliance across functions, driving continuous improvement in receiving, value services (kitting and labeling), rework, and shipping operations. The successful candidate will foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and open communication, promoting employee engagement to meet business objectives. This position reports directly to the Distribution Quality Manager and may require periodic weekend/evening work. It is a 1st shift position, hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST.

Where Is The Work

This position is designated as On-Site and as Safety Sensitive.

Core Job Responsibilities
  • Operate PIV equipment (forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, order pickers) safely for loading, unloading, sorting, stacking, and staging products.
  • Drive continuous improvement toward defect-free processes and promote a learning culture.
  • Perform daily audits and quality checks across the Distribution Center.
  • Report and follow up on recurring quality issues, brainstorming process or design improvements.
  • Participate in projects to develop or improve quality policies and activities.
  • Initiate product quarantines for serious issues and lead reworks as needed.
  • Execute processes such as rework, re-boxing, and scrap management.
  • Record results for technical reporting.
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process goods, and finished goods for appearance, packaging, and labels.
  • Use industrial machinery or hand tools to repair defects related to quality.
  • Suggest quality improvements and collaborate with production and engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Responsibility, accuracy, dependability, and good attendance
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and instructions
  • Proficiency with software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, ETQ, and Oracle
  • Annual skills update training as needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles
