Champion Personnel is hiring a Quality Inspector for a precision manufacturing company in Mentor, Ohio. You will inspect metal and plastic parts, read blueprints, and support the Quality Manager to ensure products meet customer specs.

This full-time, first-shift role offers a stable daytime schedule, paid time off, health insurance after 90 days, and a 401(k) with company match. CMM experience is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting manufactured parts.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.
• Basic understanding of GD&T.
• Confidence using precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and communicate with the team.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Steel-toe boots.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and customer specifications.
• Check dimensions and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Record measurements and complete inspection reports.
• Identify defects and communicate concerns to the Quality Manager and production team.
• Work with CNC machinists and operators to resolve quality issues.

You’ll inspect custom metal and plastic parts, support the Quality Manager, and help ensure products meet customer specifications.

CMM experience is not required.

What You’ll Do
