Job summary

CRH is seeking a Non-Exempt QA professional to handle assigned QA tasks and move polymer concrete components off production line conveyors onto skids. The role includes inspecting parts, performing process audits, resin blending, and logging non-conformances with HOLD tags.

You will communicate quality concerns to leads and supervisors, maintain 5S in work areas, and conduct raw material testing in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience in manufacturing.
• Trained to training matrix standards relevant to the role.
• Strong attention to detail with good mathematical basics.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Able to stand for long durations and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in hot and cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts from production, assembly, and dock inspections.
• Perform daily process audits.
• Conduct resin blending, pigmenting, and first article inspections per blueprints.
• Identify casting defects in boxes, large boxes, and covers.
• Label non-conformances with HOLD tags and log in QA HOLD log.
• Communicate quality concerns with line leads and supervisors.
• Maintain 5S in assigned areas.
• Perform raw material testing.

Job Summary

The Downstack is responsible for assigned QA tasks and moving products “off- of” the production line conveyors: polymer concrete boxes, covers, and vaults, and down stacking onto skids.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspecting parts coming from production, assembly, and dock inspections
• Process audits completed daily
• Gel testing, cube compression resting, load cell testing, and product testing
• Resin blending and pigmenting first article inspections using blueprints ensuring all products are meeting specifications
• Identify casting defects in: box, large box, & covers
• Properly label non-conformances with HOLD tags
• Properly log non-conformances in QA HOLD log
• Communicate quality concerns with casting line team leads & supervisors
• Maintain 5S in assigned areas
• Raw material testing

Job Requirements

• High School or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Trained to all applicable training matrix standards in support of position
