Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Assurance Technician to ensure products meet pre-determined quality standards through inspections, testing, and data collection. The position reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.

Pay rate: $22.00-$24.00/hour; Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM or 8:00AM-4:30PM, with occasional overtime. Responsibilities include routine QC testing, data collection, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Quality experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Business correspondence and interpersonal skills, as well as computer skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality control and testing per customer specifications.
• Collect production performance data to support non-routine quality checks.
• Assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations when products are non-conforming, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Update RMAs in company's ERP system when requested.
• Attend meetings and trainings to support quality control activities and initiatives.
• Complete required paperwork as needed.
• Work safely, and keep work areas clear and organized; maintains housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as requested.

1st Shift Quality Assurance Technician

The 1st Shift Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet pre-determined quality standards through inspections, testing, and data collection. This position reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality control and testing per customer specifications
• Conduct testing and collect production performance data in an effort to support non-routine quality checks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience or 3 to 5 years of related work experience
• Quality experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices
