A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Level 1 Punch Press Operator for the 1st shift in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will perform basic press operations, conduct inspections, and maintain equipment. This entry-level position requires a high school diploma and offers a hands-on work environment with opportunities for skill development.
Level One: Working with assistance, level one punch press operators interpret work instructions and routers as well as gather related work docs. Level one punch press operators perform basic press operations once the job has been setup, including in process inspection, which requires the use of calipers, micrometers, etc., basic shop math and print reading. Typically, 0-1 years of experience.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer use. Applicant should be familiar with Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:
Required Experience:
1-year minimum experience in industry or related field.
Level of Education:
High school diploma/GED equivalent required. Shop math and blueprint reading certifications preferred.
