Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Production Worker in West Bend, Wisconsin. The role involves preparing batches of paint, sealants, and coatings, setting up and operating production machinery, and ensuring quality and efficient production in a fully onsite facility.

You will work across multiple production areas, fill containers to specification, label and prepare for shipping, and follow work orders to meet daily targets. PPE is required, and safety is emphasized in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with production environments is preferred.
• Ability to read simple production docs or blueprints.
• Willingness to work onsite in West Bend, WI.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Work across multiple areas of production in a hybrid capacity as needed.
• Fill completed batches into correct container sizes per customer requirements.
• Label, package, and prep filled containers for shipping.
• Follow work orders to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Perform general production tasks including batching, mixing, and material handling.
• Conduct basic product inspections to ensure quality and consistency.
• Use basic math to measure and verify quantities during batching and filling.
• Operate forklift to move materials and finished products as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints or production documentation as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with the production team to meet daily and weekly goals.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety guidelines at all times.

Job Description

This role operates in a production environment where you prepare batches of paint, sealants, and coatings by following detailed ingredient lists and mixing the correct materials for each batch. You will learn to start up and operate machinery, complete batches from start to finish, and work in a hybrid capacity across multiple areas of production. Once batches are complete, you will fill the appropriate container sizes for customers and prepare products for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare batches of paint, sealants, and coatings by accurately following ingredient lists and mixing the correct materials.
• Set up, start, and operate production machinery as trained to complete each batch safely and efficiently.
• Work in a hybrid capacity, assisting in multiple areas of production as needed.
• Fill completed batches into the correct size containers according to customer requirements.
• Label, package, and prep filled containers for shipping.
• Follow work orders and production instructions to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Perform general production tasks including batching, mixing, and material handling.
• Conduct basic inspection of products and batches to ensure quality and consistency.
• Apply inventory control principles to track materials and finished goods accurately.
• Use basic math skills to measure, calculate, and verify quantities during batching and filling.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products, where required for the hybrid role.
• Read and interpret blueprints or production documentation as needed for batching and mixing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the production facility.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety guidelines at all times.

This is a Permanent position based out of West Bend, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
