Molnlycke, a medical device manufacturer in Wiscasset, ME, is seeking a full-time Production Technician for Day Shift (6:00am - 2:00pm) to support our manufacturing of healthcare products worldwide. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and work well in a team-based environment.

What we offer:

• The pay rate for this role is $21.12 an hour to start
• $2.00 shift differential between the hours of 5:30pm to 5:30am

Work schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00am-2:00pm
• Workdays and hours may vary depending on operational needs; occasional overtime and weekend work may be required

Job responsibilities:

Perform various production processing duties in manufacturing SWC products, including manufacturing of fluidized medium to produce Fluidized Positioners from raw materials to finished goods, following good manufacturing practices in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Pre-employment physical, background check, and at least 2 professional references
• Success in a team environment and ability to meet performance measures with minimal supervision
• Decision-making skills, effective communication, and organization skills
• Basic mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
• Ability to work overtime and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing, walking, lifting, and wearing a respirator
• Experience in production or manufacturing preferred but not required

This position involves working around equipment that may be hazardous to individuals with pacemakers.
