Job summary
Lippert is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of engineered products, seeking a production worker in Goshen, Indiana to support the flow of production from raw materials to finished goods. You will follow safety rules, maintain inventory, and move parts through installation and shipping areas.
The role requires reading measurements, operating basic hand tools, and teamwork to meet daily goals. Physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds is expected, with typical full-time hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing/industry experience
- Able to read basic blueprints
- Use of hand tools
Responsibilities
- Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company
- Maintenance of material inventory
- Movement of raw material through installation area
- Assurance of proper parts specifications (size, dimensions, gauge, etc.) for chassis completion
- Assurance of sufficient part supply at all processing stations
- Movement of completed parts from installation area to shipping area
- Assistance in repair work as necessary
- Maintenance of good housekeeping practices
