Job summary

UniFirst Corp. is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner to join the Shipping Department at the New Kensington site.

You will help keep customers on schedule by ensuring on-time delivery of garments and will enjoy a 40-hour workweek with Saturdays and Sundays off. You’ll receive on-the-job training, plus benefits including Health Insurance, 401K with company match, profit sharing, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and a 30% employee discount.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Able to read, write, and communicate clearly.
• Able to lift up to 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments for shipment to customer locations.
• Organize garments by route and stop number.
• Store garments until shipment back to customer.
• Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Prepare garments that require polybagging/wrapping.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
