Job summary

H.B. Fuller in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st Shift (6:30a–3:00p, Mon–Sat). You will operate production equipment, prepare raw materials, and ensure labeling and packaging meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and comprehension of work orders, safety rules and quality procedures.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions and process documents.
• Willingness to work in multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and packaging; transport to production areas and report deviations.
• Operate processing equipment per process instructions and procedures.
• Monitor equipment to maintain target run rates and quality.
• Perform initial product testing and release to ensure specifications are met.
• Inspect labels and packaging; ensure correct labeling per rules.
• Package final products according to quality standards.
• Maintain housekeeping in the area and comply with EHS rules.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
