Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator for a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm with potential overtime and weekend work. The role emphasizes precise adherence to SOPs, quality control, and safe housekeeping in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The position requires ability to lift 30+ pounds, stay on task throughout the shift, and follow directions. Applicants should have strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
  • Able to lift 30+ pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Willing to learn and follow written SOPs precisely.
  • Experience with computers or POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Follows established SOPs in production with focus on quality and detail.
  • Performs housekeeping and inventory control to maintain clean environment.
  • Performs other duties or projects as assigned by supervisor.
  • Runs process to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Knows production targets and drives operation to meet goals.

Job description

What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health

Production Operation operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up, adjust, and perform maintenance on machines. Check’s work using prescribed gauges, jigs, and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.


Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (overtime per business needs, sometimes weekends)

Responsibilities:


  • Follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in a production setting with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.

  • Performs housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment including complying with all Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

  • Performs other duties and/or participates in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member.

  • Runs process to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.

  • Knows production targets / goals and drives operation to achieve or exceed goals.


Qualifications:

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!



  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds.

  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.

  • Ability to follow direction and change priorities.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus.

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Anticipated hourly range:$19.00 per hour - $19.60 per hour
