The job involves performing production duties across the line, operating equipment, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include area setup, material handling, line monitoring, and adherence to safety policies in a cold, wet environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years production/operations experience preferred.
• Understand and comply with company, plant and safety rules/policies.
• Basic understanding of production procedures.
• Ability to use knives and various machinery.
• Ability to lift and handle product and stand at a production conveyor line.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and conveyors.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective product or packaging materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow scheduling and overtime needs.
• Set up and tear down equipment; use proper lifting and handling techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned and report safety concerns.
