Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Job Details
  • Location: Albert Lea, MN
  • Job Status: Full-time, 40 hours/week, hourly, nonexempt
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Start Dates: Applications are reviewed regularly; interviews begin mid-May to end of June for June-September starts.
Job Summary

Design Ready Controls, a leader in control panel building, seeks a Production Assembler I to perform tasks such as wiring, sheet metal assembly, component setup, and panel wiring. Basic schematic reading and electrical symbol understanding are required.

Responsibilities
  1. Verify parts match BOM
  2. Assemble electrical panels per drawings
  3. Terminate wires and add terminals
  4. Prepare panels for testing/shipping
  5. Troubleshoot wiring issues
  6. Identify process improvements
  7. Maintain safety standards
  8. Implement 5S and Lean practices
  9. Assist in training
  10. Uphold company values
  11. Perform tasks across multiple product lines after training
Skills & Abilities
  1. Proficient with computers for documentation
  2. Ability to read color-coded wires and measurements
  3. Use measurement tools safely
  4. Perform basic math
  5. Use hand/power tools correctly
  6. Occasional overtime availability
  7. Attention to detail and quality
  8. Integrity, teamwork, safety, customer focus
Physical Requirements
  1. Frequent wire handling and tool use
  2. Stand/walk 1-2+ hours per shift
  3. Lift 10-85 lbs. as needed
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly pay: $18.00-$20.00 (based on experience)
