Job summary

Mars, Incorporated is seeking a Processing Operator for 1st shift in Illinois to ensure efficient production of quality products and maintain safety standards. You will operate and adjust machinery, support line readiness, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of manufacturing experience, knowledge of inventory control, and SAP familiarity. OSHA forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience operating processing or packaging machines.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles.
• Ability to operate a forklift and OSHA certification.
• Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assigned activities and tasks within a line or area.
• Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Takes corrective actions to solve problems to root cause level.
• Able to assess equipment reliability and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintains QC records and shift logs.
• Performs QC checks and ensures product quality.
• Understands inventory control and production schedules.
