Lowen Corporation in Hutchinson, KS is seeking a 1st Shift Printer to prepare and print graphics, keep the press clean, and troubleshoot issues. The role supports national brands with high-quality signage and graphics.

You will operate presses, set up registration, print across processes from fine lines to 4-color, and finish screen-printed graphics. The team emphasizes safety, reliability, and a proactive attitude to meet deadlines.

• Sharpen a squeegee
• Print across most aspects of printing (fine line to 4-color)

• Troubleshoot and correct printing problems
• Print sharp, crisp images with a low error rate
• Understand inks and curing/drying methods (including testing UV cured inks)
• Take initiative and show leadership
• Maintain outstanding attention to detail

Job Summary:

Prepares (load screen and ink in press) and prints graphics, keeps printing press clean, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining print equipment, and completing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Work Environment:

• Climate controlled work environment
• Cement floor; anti-fatigue mats provided
• Clean working environment
• May be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Works with chemicals; PPE required at times

Physical Demands:

• Must reach Level 3 physical capacity test post-hire
• Occasional walking, sitting, reaching across midline, pinching/picking, feeling, steps in/out of machine, climbing
• Occasional lifting/lowering, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent changing position, reaching, handling
• Constant standing
• Exerts 20-50 lbs. occasionally; 10-25 lbs. frequently; negligible-10 lbs. constantly

Expected Hours of Work:

Full-time; Monday-Friday, 8 hour days. Additional hours may be required to meet customer deadlines
