Job:Press Operator
Shift: 1st 6:30am - 3:30pm
Wage: $16.00 - $18.00 / hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and dependable. This role involves working in the Screening Department with press machines. The Press Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring quality and efficiency in our production processes.
Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate and maintain automatic screen printing press to produce high-quality garments.
  • Perform regular inspections of completed decorated garments and make sure they were decorated to the customers' requirements on their purchase order.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline production processes and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace within the warehouse environment.
  • Assist in inventory management, including tracking materials and supplies needed for production.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process, providing solutions as necessary.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year running automated screen printing presses or similar presses
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods (2-4 hours at a time) and lift materials as required during production activities.
  • Physical ability to twist frequently throughout the day
  • Able to pull up to 25 pounds
  • A commitment to maintaining safety standards within the workplace.
