Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is recruiting for a press brake operator in Pelzer, SC. Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal to precise specifications, read blueprints, install tooling, inspect parts, and maintain safety.

Shift A: Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, $19–$21 per hour based on experience; full-time with immediate openings. This role offers competitive pay and opportunities for long-term employment with a growing shop.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal to precise specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Install and align tooling and dies for each production run.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Make machine adjustments and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain production and quality documentation.
• Identify material defects or equipment issues.
• Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Work closely with your team to meet production goals.
