Mid-Plains Industries in Nebraska is seeking a Press Brake Operator with hands-on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC press brakes (135-ton Cincinnati Maxform, 60-ton Cincinnati Proform, 400-ton Accurpress). You will comply with MPI policies and procedures.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, perform first-piece inspections, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. This is a full-time on-site role requiring 2+ years of brake press experience and strong safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years brake press operating experience (setup experience required).
• Experience with Cincinnati and/or Accurpress equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC press brakes to form parts per prints and work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and bend charts.
• Select proper tooling, punches, and dies for each job.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Make adjustments to programs and setups as needed.
• Maintain tight tolerances and consistent part quality.
• Perform and maintain basic cleaning of the work area every shift
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized.
• Work safely and follow all safety procedures.
• All other duties assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

2+ years of brake press operating experience (setup experience required)

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Experience with Cincinnati and/or Accurpress equipment is preferred
• Strong ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, angle gauges, etc.)
• Understanding of material types, bend allowances, and forming techniques
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
