Job summary

Anchor Fabrication Fort Worth seeks an entry-level Press Brake Helper to support setup, operation, and maintenance of press brake machinery. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in metal fabrication within a manufacturing environment.

You will assist with tools, dies, and materials, load sheets, and help maintain a clean, safe work area while following PPE protocols and reporting issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic understanding of shop math and measurement tools.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up press brake machines by preparing tools, dies, and materials.
• Load and unload metal sheets or parts onto the press brake.
• Support the operator in aligning and positioning materials accurately.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment before and after shifts.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Help with routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication and cleaning of the machine.
• Organize and stage materials for upcoming jobs.
