Job summary

Debbie's Staffing is seeking a 1st Shift Mechanical Assembly Technician for our client in Kernersville, NC. The role involves precision assembly of industrial products, calibration, testing, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. You will handle materials, inventory, and operate material-handling equipment in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Typical shift is 6:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime as requested. Pay is $17.00 per hour with weekly pay; temp-to-hire assignment.

Qualifications

Excellent attendance and reliability.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
Ability to stand on concrete for the full shift.
Ability to lift 50–70 lbs.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Capable of working independently and in a team.
Strong attention to detail and focus for long periods.
Must pass new hire screenings.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced and precision assembly following specifications and blueprints.
Conduct high-accuracy calibration, testing, and adjustments with precision instruments.
Read and interpret blueprints to assemble products.
Monitor equipment functionality and report issues.
Install, repair, and adjust components as needed.
Order, stock, and organize materials to prevent shortages.
