Job summary

Engtal is seeking two Mechanical Assembly Technicians for first shift in Auburn Hills, MI. You will assemble small mechanical components, manifolds, valves, hose bundles, and pneumatic lines, following mechanical prints and written instructions, and perform basic testing on completed assemblies.

The role requires hands-on mechanical ability gained through assembly, automotive or similar experience, plus strong attention to detail and the ability to read or learn to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical ability from assembly, cabinet building, equipment repair, or similar experience.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and read or learn mechanical assembly drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with small components.
• Willingness to learn new assembly and testing procedures.
• Dependable, cooperative approach to working with others.
• Comfort with detailed, repetitive bench work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small mechanical components, manifolds, valves, hose bundles, and pneumatic lines.
• Follow mechanical prints and instructions to select and install parts.
• Use hand tools and torque tools to secure components per specs.
• Inspect parts and finished assemblies for accuracy and workmanship.
• Learn to perform pressure, leak, and flow testing with designated equipment.
• Record assembly checks and test results.
• Work independently at bench while collaborating with a small team.
