Job summary

Responsibilities include recording weights in batch records and inventory systems, staging materials to meet schedules, operating pallet jacks or forklifts if certified, performing routine inventory

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in food manufacturing or warehouse operations preferred.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and measure ingredients and raw materials according to batch tickets.
• Verify material identities, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
• Stage materials for production to meet schedules.
• Record weights and production data in batch records and systems.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in pre-weigh and storage areas.
• Operate material handling equipment (if certified).
• Perform inventory transactions and assist with cycle counts.
• Report discrepancies or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist with additional warehouse and production tasks as needed.
