Job summary

O&K American Corp. in Chicago, IL seeks a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift to install, repair and maintain industrial equipment and PLC-controlled systems. You will troubleshoot electrical circuits, modify wiring and perform preventive maintenance as part of a hands-on team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, factory maintenance experience, and basic reading of manuals, drawings, and schematics. The role requires physical work in a manufacturing setting and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in Industrial Manufacturing, Electrical, Welding, Tradesman ship, or Military education preferred.
• Good reading of technical manuals and drawings.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and electrical controls.
• Support mechanical, cleaning, machine maintenance, water treatment, and other tasks to keep the plant functional.
• Direct helpers on repair projects and ensure safe operation.
