Job summary

Vistar in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a full-time warehouse associate for the Monday–Friday 1st shift, starting at 5:00 AM. You will accurately pick and pack products for shipment, observing all safety regulations and maintaining quality standards as orders flow through the process.

You will operate scanning equipment, meet productivity targets, and communicate with other departments to keep work moving. Day 1 benefits are included, with opportunities for growth in a safe, inclusive team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6 - 12 months warehouse and / or production work experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product according to established standards.
• Run scanning equipment.
• Pack orders to the customer's requirement and/or from provided specifications.
• Meet established productivity standards and quality standards.
• Self-identifies mistakes, identify problems and recommend solutions, provide candid and timely feedback.

Job Description:

Schedule: Monday- Friday

Monday-Friday start: 5:00 AM

Shifts end when daily work is completed; end times may vary based on volume.

Earn $18.00-$19.25/hr (includes $1.25 freezer differential) plus incentive pay

Position Summary:

Accurately and efficiently pick product and prepare orders for shipment observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Works independently and communicates well with other departments (verbally/written/computer) to move work through the system in an organized fashion. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
