Job Overview

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling Customer Orders by retrieving and stacking specific products and quantities as specified on the Pick Ticket or Computer Screen, using a pre-determined conveyor and/or pallet. This involves traveling throughout the Warehouse’s Pick Area and building stable pallets of product, while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Retrieve and place quantities of Cases of Product onto pallets as instructed, ensuring safety and stability, and meeting or exceeding safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards.
• Transport pallets of stacked product to different areas of the Warehouse using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) - Pallet Jack.
• Assist in Warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as needed.
• Perform daily PIT Checklist and report any issues to Warehouse Management.
• Correct mistakes related to product and quantity as identified.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, walking and lifting up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to coordinate and organize warehouse processes.
• Adaptability to different work areas and tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen.
• Attention to detail and package differentiation.
• Ability to work in noisy, non-climate-controlled environments.

• Flexibility in schedules and hours based on business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Up to 12 months of relevant work experience.
• PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification: Pallet Jack.

Work Environment

• Noisy, non-temperature-controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).
