Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc. in Salina, Kansas, is seeking a Painter / Paint Line Person for the 1st shift to support our Kubota Construction Equipment paint line. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays when required. You will load paint lines, prep parts, inspect finishes, and ensure correct packaging and inventory accuracy. Prior paint-line experience is helpful, and candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a lean

Qualifications

• Experience in painting or paint line operations preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience helpful.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load paint lines safely to maximum capacity per the production requirements.
• Prep unfinished parts for final topcoat.
• Download painted parts safely and ensure correct part identification for inventory accuracy.
• Inspect painted parts at unload for defects.
• Pack painted parts to ensure arrival to customer in good condition.
• Adapt to all paint line duties including Load, Prep, Unload, Material Handling & Painting.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.
