The Jor-Mac Company is seeking a 1st Shift Paint Line Support to ensure smooth operation of the paint production line. The role involves technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance support to uphold high-quality paint application and production standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, collaborating with production and maintenance teams, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm, on-site role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or production, preferably with paint/coating processes.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment.
  • Ability to work a first shift schedule reliably.

About the Role:

The 1st Shift Paint Line Support role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the paint production line during the first shift. This position focuses on providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance support to maintain high-quality paint application and production standards. The role requires close collaboration with production teams to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring consistent output. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring equipment performance and suggesting enhancements. Ultimately, this role supports the overall manufacturing process by maintaining optimal paint line functionality and product quality.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with paint or coating processes.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment.
  • Ability to work a first shift schedule reliably.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical certification or training related to paint application or industrial maintenance.
  • Experience with automated paint line equipment and control systems.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures in a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
