Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Packer-1st Shift at its Dallas, TX facility. Core hours are Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Overtime may be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.

The Packer – Decon Support team member supports deconsolidation operations, prepares work areas, trailers, and documentation for the third-shift team, and may assist with container unloading as needed. A 90-day introductory safety period applies for new hourly hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
• Minimum 6 months experience with Forklift/Cherry picker/Reach Truck with prior forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Position a new or partially loaded trailer at the dock door for the third-shift team before the end of the shift.
• Complete partially loaded trailers when only a few rows remain, as third shift lacks yard driver support.
• Document and communicate shift handoff with accurate pass-down tally sheets.
• Create tally sheets and packing lists for the third-shift team and attach related POs.
• Communicate outstanding issues, priorities, and status to the incoming team.
• Keep conveyor belt and work area clean, organized and ready for the next shift.
