Job summary

PARALLEL EMPLOYMENT GROUP is seeking motivated General Laborers to join a fast-paced production team as Packaging Line Operator. You will operate packaging machinery, ensure products are packed accurately and efficiently, and help maintain high quality standards on the line.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and readiness to work in a team-driven environment. 1st shift starts at $16 per hour, with typical hours 7am-3:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in packaging/manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging machinery according to production specifications.
• Monitor the packaging process to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
