1st Shift Outbound Material Handler - $20.00/Hr (4 Weeks PTO Yearly)

Job Summary

The Outbound Material Handler is responsible for ensuring all orders are picked, consolidated, packed, and shipped timely and accurately. This role involves using warehouse systems and equipment, including powered industrial trucks.

Shift Schedule

• Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from racking accurately using handheld scanners and ERP system, on foot or with forklift
• Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment
• Pack products securely, focusing on customer experience
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Collaborate with team to meet departmental goals
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Support other departments as needed

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day
• Communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
• Use hands for grasping and manipulation
• Bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach regularly
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs

Experience & Education

• 1+ years in distribution environment preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent
