Job summary

Design Ready Controls is seeking an Order Picker to join our production team. You will use a hand RF scanner to pick orders, kitting parts for jobs and process warehouse parts into inventory, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

This 1st shift position offers a clear path for hands-on learning and growth in warehousing, inventory control, and lean practices. Full-time schedule with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent (required).
• Forklift driving experience - internal certification provided (preferred).
• Prior RF Scanner experience (preferred).
• ERP experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Use hand RF scanner for order picking/kitting parts, steel and panel enclosures for specific to jobs.
• Update the Inventory Control System and data entry.
• Process warehouse parts into inventory with both consigned and non-consigned parts.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Learn how to perform the shortage report, warehouse transfers, aftermarket and drives.
• Train and learn how to use the stand-up, sit down forklifts and the Big Joe.
• Deliver parts to production line(s) as directed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, clean and efficient work area.
• Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required.
• Identify and assist in process improvement measures.
