Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking an Assembler for our Mower Assembly line in Batesville, AR. You will perform manual labor on a production line, assembling parts and ensuring quality as you progress along the line.

You will use hand tools and may operate forklift if certified, with opportunities to lift and move parts, work at a steady pace, and contribute to a Lean/5S culture. Prior assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred and the role requires standing most of the shift.

Qualifications

• Assembly and/or general manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to stand and walk constantly over a full work shift.
• May be required to lift or carry materials of various weights and sizes.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to complex assembly on the Mower Assembly line.
• Use hand tools, wrenches and impacts as required.
• Pick up, move and sort small parts.
• Unpack parts from boxes as needed.
• May operate forklift and/or heavy equipment if certified.
• Work at a fast pace to meet production quotas while maintaining safety and quality.
• Report safety incidents or damage to supervisor immediately.
• Report defective material or questionable condition to production supervisor.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area following Lean and 5S principles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
