Job summary

Aerotek is hiring Mechanical Assemblers for a long-term opportunity in Tamarac, FL. The role involves assembling car wash equipment and mechanical components using hand and power tools, reading blueprints and drawings, and inspecting finished work to ensure quality. This is a contract-to-hire position with a 1st shift, Monday–Friday schedule.

Pay starts at $19.76/hr, with comprehensive benefits available upon permanent hire. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and power tools in assembly environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or assembly drawings.
• Able to read a tape measure and use measuring devices accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Experience assembling mechanical equipment or similar components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble car wash equipment and mechanical components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices.
• Read work instructions, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
• Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work with a team to meet production goals.
