Job summary

Kikkoman Foods Inc HQ and Walworth Plant in Walworth, Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for the first shift. You will troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment, operate boilers, and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of plant machinery to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include coordinating parts and tools with other departments, ensuring compliance with HACCP/GMP/SQF and ISO standards, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment.
• Operate boilers.
• Preventive maintenance (PM) on any kind of equipment.
• Prepare necessary parts, tools, materials for repair, PM, projects and contractor support.
• Consult with involved departments for repair, PM, projects and contractor support.
• Perform all periodical checks as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Proper operation of utility equipment and necessary checks; fill chemicals and related paperwork.
• Operate detection/alarm devices/systems and related paperwork including communications with authorities.
• Follow HACCP/GMP/SQF, Safety or ISO standards including required paperwork by Maintenance Management.
• Clean and maintain neat and tidy maintenance areas and premises.
• Comply with departmental & company-wide food safety policies and procedures.
• “Call in” duties as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Perform any other tasks requested by Maintenance Management.

• Preparation of necessary parts, tools, material for repair, PM, projects and contractor support.
• Consultation and adjustment with department involved when required, for repair, PM, projects and contractor support
• All the periodical checking work as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Proper operation of utility equipment as well as necessary checking work, filling up necessary chemicals, related paperwork, and etc.
• Proper operation of detection/alarm devices/systems as well as necessary checking work and paper work including communication with related authorities.
• Follow requirements relating to HACCP/GMP /SQF, Safety or ISO standards including all necessary paperwork as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Cleaning and maintaining neat and tidy where maintenance department is in charge in our premises
• Comply with all departmental & company-wide food safety policies and procedures.
• “Call in” duties as requested by Maintenance Management
• Any other tasks requested by Maintenance Management.
