Material Handler

We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team and support our efforts in achieving World Class Excellence within our Automation Instrumentation Production Center. In the Level and Pressure Production Center, we utilize advanced manufacturing technologies to ensure product quality, safety of employees, and environmental protection.

Responsibilities:

• Work safely, perform quality work, and complete tasks efficiently
• Maintain 5S standards; keep workspace clean and organized
• Follow company policies and employee handbook guidelines
• Receive incoming materials; verify quantities and conditions
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and adjust records as needed
• Perform timely put-away of materials using FIFO method
• Operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, tugger, order picker, and pallet jack
• Distribute materials within the facility to support production; manage related transactions
• Provide excellent customer service to internal departments
• Promote a positive work environment and respectful team interactions
• Update order statuses for packing and shipping
• Ensure quality in work with attention to detail
• Pack and prepare products for shipment
• Use SAP for routine transactions to move materials/products
• Create manifests and dispatch orders accurately
• Complete checklists and reports to ensure compliance
• Share improvement ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Apply Lean principles to identify and eliminate waste
• Communicate effectively within the team and with customers
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Experience operating powered lift trucks safely
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; willingness to learn SAP
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedural documents
• 1-2 years of experience in Material Handling or Logistics
