1st Shift Material Handler - Starting pay $19.50 per hour

Join us as a 1st Shift Material Handler at WebstaurantStore.

Job Summary

The Outbound Material Handler ensures all orders are picked, consolidated, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently to support smooth outbound operations. This role involves using warehouse systems and equipment, including Powered Industrial Trucks.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from racking using handheld scanners, ERP system, and equipment like forklifts.
• Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment.
• Pack products securely and accurately, focusing on customer satisfaction.
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety protocols.
• Maintain efficiency, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Keep the work environment clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals.
• Follow company policies and adapt to other roles as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day.
• Communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Use hands for grasping and manipulation.
• Bend, squat, crawl, climb, and reach regularly.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs regularly.

Experience & Education

1+ years in a distribution environment preferred; not required. Relevant skills and training are valued.
