Job summary

Amerhart, an SBP brand, is hiring a 1st shift Material Handler at the Jackson, MI facility. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, and stocking warehouse materials as part of the Operations team.

Typical shift is 7:30am CST start, Monday to Friday, with work finishing when the day’s tasks are done. The candidate will operate a forklift, use a handheld scanner, and follow safety policies to ensure accurate and safe material handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Proven ability to work as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload common carrier trucks and replenish product in the designated location in the warehouse.
• Pick orders using a forklift until the order is completely filled.
• Report shortages or damaged material, and coordinate with sales.
• Use handheld scanner for receiving, picking, and cycle counting per WMS processes.
• Collaborate with WMS Coordinator on questions and updates.
• Ensure safe shipping by banding and prepping material and arranging orders on trucks.
