1st Shift Material Handler - Pay Starts at $19.00/hour

Join us as a 1st Shift Material Handler at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

Location: 1000 West Bagley Rd., Berea, OH 44017. Come see our recently renovated, temperature-controlled facility!

Compensation: Pay starts at $19.00/hour, with eligibility for quarterly bonuses and a $1,250 sign-on bonus.

Role Overview

As a Material Handler in our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team, you'll work independently to safely and efficiently pull, pack, transport, and store materials. Responsibilities include performing incoming inspections, operating fork trucks, entering inventory data, and maintaining safety standards.

Essential Duties

• Read work orders to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Load and unload materials using hand tools, fork trucks, and moving devices.
• Secure loads and convey them to destinations.
• Perform incoming material inspections.
• Input transactions into computer software.
• Maintain professional communication with internal and external contacts.
• Follow safety standards and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse or forklift experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
