Job summary

Morgan Truck Body is hiring a Material Handler for the 1st shift at our Morgantown, PA facility. You’ll safely operate forklifts and straddle lifts, move components, stock lines, and keep production flowing.

This hands-on role requires reliability, attention to safety, and the ability to read orders and labels while working with JDE and other warehouse tools. Join a team that values accuracy, training, and continuous improvement through programs like 5S and Lean.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and instructions.
• Proficiency with JDE and warehouse tech.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight; ensure accurate check-ins.
• Log item numbers for unidentified materials to keep inventory accurate.
• Operate forklifts/straddle lifts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized, hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Count, sort, and organize parts for easy retrieval.
• Support truck loading/unloading to keep production moving.
• Read and follow written orders and labels, including hazardous warnings.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Mentor new team members on floor operations.
• Handle hazardous waste per regulations and company procedures.
• Contribute to safety-first culture through training support.
• Lift up to 35 lbs and work with various materials.
