Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler in Dallas, TX to support manufacturing operations by pulling materials, delivering to production lines, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

This full-time role requires operating forklifts and other equipment, following safety procedures, and collaborating with production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available for windows production in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to seasonal temperature changes.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout a shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and adjusted start/end times as production demands require.
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and stage incoming materials and shipments.
• Move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility using material handling equipment.
• Stock production lines and workstations to ensure continuous workflow and prevent delays.
• Maintain accurate inventory by tracking, organizing, and replenishing materials as needed.
• Support shipping and receiving operations, including material verification and documentation.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other equipment when authorized.
• Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and report hazards or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production, shipping, receiving, and supervisory teams to meet operational goals.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas.
