Job summary

FUJIFILM Electronics Materials, U.S.A., Inc. in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the 1st shift to support chemical manufacturing and packaging processes.

You will work with state-of-the-art equipment to meet production goals and ensure safety and quality in daily operations. Ideal candidates are entry-level or have manufacturing/chemical processing exposure; strong math, SOP literacy in English, and SAP familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Entry-level position; candidates with manufacturing or chemical processing experience may be considered for higher roles.
• Basic math, measurements, conversions required.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and safety guidelines in English.
• Experience with SAP strongly preferred.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust chemical manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Handle and measure raw materials according to formulations, following safety and quality guidelines.
• Collect samples for QC lab analysis.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Accurately process production data transactions in the ERP system (SAP).
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols, including PPE use and hazardous material handling.
• Perform equipment cleaning.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and required training.
• Adhere to 5S practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
