Fujifilm is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the North Kingstown, RI site to support 1st shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate, monitor, and adjust chemical processing equipment, ensure safe handling of materials, and collect samples for QC analysis.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, PPE requirements, and accurate data entry in SAP, with opportunities to grow through continuous improvement initiatives and safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Entry-level position; manufacturing/chemical processing experience considered for higher roles.
• Basic math for measurements, conversions, and simple calculations.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs and safety guidelines in English.
• Communication to document production activities and collaborate with teammates.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Must wear PPE, including respirators, as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust chemical manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Handle and measure raw materials according to formulations, following safety and quality guidelines.
• Collect samples for QC lab analysis.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Accurately process production data transactions in SAP.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols, including PPE and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Perform equipment cleaning.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, safety programs, and required training.
• Adhere to 5S practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
