1st Shift Maintenance Technician II (Fri-Mon)

Job Description

Famous Footwear is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Lebanon, TN. In this role, you will lead diagnostics and maintain machinery to ensure safety and productivity in our warehouse. Your leadership in project management and departmental training will be vital in our fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Shift Schedule: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Friday through Monday.

Responsibilities

1. Prioritize Safety: Follow all safety guidelines, with emphasis on Lock-out Tag-out, Fall protection, and OSHA compliance. Detect hazards and implement safe solutions.
2. Diagnostics & Maintenance: Use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and preventative maintenance on motor control systems, forklifts, scanners, and building systems. Repair damaged equipment promptly.
3. Learning & Training: Provide departmental training and participate in ongoing training, retraining, and certification as needed.
4. Project Management: Lead projects and coordinate efforts effectively.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of facilities maintenance or technician experience preferred.
• Mechanical and general building maintenance skills required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
